Manual Handling Courses

The manual handling course is aimed at all levels of employees who may undertake manual handling operations, including the transporting of a load of items by lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving thereof by hand or by bodily force.

For some staff, moving loads may be a key part of their job. However, many employees may find themselves having to occasionally pick up and manoeuvre heavy loads in any working environment. Hence the importance of manual handling training to ensure that you use the correct techniques whilst being aware of the serious dangers involved as it only takes one use of a poor technique to result in a long-term injury which could keep employees out of work for weeks or even months whilst making the employer potentially liable for damages.

Our manual handling training offers a hands-on experience and is ideal for employers that recognise manual handling as high risk in their workplace.
